Call for Contributions
This call is closed!
We invite you to submit contributions for posters and oral presentations addressing current work in cognitive science. All topics related to cognitive science are welcome.
Since the topical focus of the KogWis 2016 is „Space for Cognition“ we particularly encourage submissions related to research on Spatial Cognition. Spatial Cognition is an interdisciplinary research field concerned with the acquisition, organization, and utilization of knowledge about spatial objects and environments, be they real, virtual, or abstract, human or machine.
Call for Presentations and Posters
We call for extended abstracts of up to 4 pages for oral presentations or 2 pages for posters, including all figures, tables, references, etc. Submissions should be written in English, and be formatted according to the Springer LNCS formatting guidelines. Contributions must be submitted by 08 May 2016 via the EasyChair submission webpage.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by members of the review committee. Acceptance will be based on novelty of research, significance of results, and quality of presentation. Accepted contributions will be published in the online conference proceedings. All accepted contributions must be presented at the conference. So at least one author must register by the early registration deadline or the contribution will not be included in the program.
The best contributions that address the topical focus of KogWis 2016 (i.e., Spatial Cognition) will be invited for expansion and submission to be reviewed for an edited Springer LNAI volume continuing the Spatial Cognition volume series. On submission authors will be asked whether they would like to contribute an expanded paper to this publication outlet.
